Recipe Testing Policy

A recipe qualifies as tested when it has been baked in full at least twice in a home kitchen, using a domestic oven and nationally available ingredients, with measurements verified by weight where precision matters.

• Timings are recorded from real bakes, not estimated.
• Test-kitchen notes on the recipe card record what we compared and what failed.
• When a reader-reported issue is reproduced, the recipe is re-tested and updated, and the change is noted.
